With ever-increasing national debt - and its growing interest being paid for by our government leaders printing more paper money - Americans sense whatever they do own is steadily losing value through inflation and higher prices.

This can fuel fear and feelings of self-protection and self-preservation.

There seems to be almost a higher fever to gain money and wealth, and strategies and ways to safegaurd it.

We need to be on guard of the temptation of storing up wealth for wrong reasons.

Of course, there are some good things we might be needing to save for, and God will show us those things.

But there is a fine line.

Most people seem to carry an inner desire to be Rich.

This is not good . . .

LOVE GOD - HATE MONEY

LOVE MONEY - HATE GOD

DEVOTED TO GOD - DESPISE MONEY

DEVOTED TO MONEY - DESPISE GOD

Scripture clearly teaches we should not Serve Money & Riches -  but rather totally Love and Serve God only.

We need money to pay our bills, buy stuff we think we need, save for our kids, even save for retirement perhaps - a time when we may no longer may be able to work.

The line can get blurry when seemingly good intentions Handling Money - turns into Serving Money.

We all have seen people that somehow started living for their Retirement - a time when they can have fun doing what they want, spending money like they want to, living for themselves, etc. Then, after they become bored with all the Golf Outings and Travel Trips - they have to figure out how to get-up everyday and Serve God and find True Purpose for each day.  They have wasted their lives!  They have to go back to the Starting Line!

WHAT A TRAP !

We desperately need God to help us in this area of daily Serving God and NOT Serving Money.

One easy way to stay pure in this arena is to simply put it all on the line to God every day . . . everything we have and everything we own.  This is easy to say and do this with words to God - but harder in reality and practice.

It is good to at least posture ourselves to do this, being truly willing to do so.

Even a poor street person can cling to and vigorously guard their cart full of junk.  For many it can become their priceless, valuable treasure on earth - all they have - all they own.  Without God, they too, will not easily part with it.  Some will fight ya for that cart.

I once got down to a handfull of pocket change and a box of saltine crackers.  It was all I had.  But it was worth a lot to me.

All We Have is All We Have.

Any amount of anything we posess can be worth a million bucks and / or be priceless to us. . .

Jesus complimented a woman in the Bible who gave Him her last 2 cents - it was all she had to live on.  It was so valuable to her.  And to Him.  Her act was so priceless to Him - that he had her offering, her sacrifice, publicly recorded forever in HIS STORY / HISTORY / THE BIBLE.

Giving All We Have - can be a profound gift to God and a statement to Him about what we think of Him . . . and how valuable He is to us.

One Christian brother I heard about - literally made a pile of his tithe cash dollars, lit it on fire, and burned it as an offering to God.  Just like they would do in the Old Testament.   He probably needed that money to pay his bills, but his act was a statement to God that God could  make up the difference. . . fill the gap.

By completely destroying the cash, there would be no "feel good" about helping a noble cause, or satisfaction from 'helping 'The Cause' at church, or dopamine-release from buying something for a poor person or for meeting some human need.

There was no self "at-a-boy" feeling of satisfaction for even helping God.

The pile of cash was "gone" forever.  Totally Destroyed.

That pile of bills was no longer usable to anyone.

God could not even use it in one of His ministries - unless He changed the ashes back to cash.

It vanished.  It evaporated.  It was absolutely gone.

For someone to take something totally valuable and secretly and completely destroy it forever as an offering to God - To deem it (in a sense) worthless in comparison to God - Is a pretty profound subject to ponder.

We should at least posture ourselves to do this, though.

(Can you imagine taking all the money you own, little or much, and building a little fire - and burning it all up as a sacrifice and offering to God?  Some people in the Bible scoffed at this kind of thing, mistakingly citing that the money could have been used to help the poor.  God is so much more concerned about us having Golden Hearts than any cause of helping poor people!)

Our very life - our physical body and self - is probably the most valuable thing we could offer to God.  Even something as the voluntary giving of ourselves up to die for God - can be vain or a useless 'Dead Work' as the Bible calls them - if it is not being done through true supernatural Love,

"And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing."  1Cor.13

Even our giving ourselves up to death for God, or giving all our money away to the poor (for God) - unless accompanied with God's interaction - can be a useless wasted, useless thing.  He will get all the glory for all things.

Such seemingly momentous human acts of courage can be based in mere "feel good" for ourselves.

We need God's help in our Giving!

We are so lost and evil without God - even in delusional heroics of Giving.

We see this commonly in Radical Extremist Religions who blow themselves up with explosives as they blow others up - because they believe it pleases God!

True & Pure, Daily giving God, our whole hearts, souls, minds, and strength - our whole physical lives to God - and then giving Him all we own financially (in our own frail and broken way) must truly move God in a profound momentous way.

It speaks clearly to God.

We are so evil without God.  But through God and with God - we are such a beautiful, wondrous thing.

"So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions." (Jesus)  Luke 14

This is an initial starting point for all of us in Christianity, but it is good to posture ourselves to do this Daily because we can so easily lose this attitude to money and possessions.

Tithing to God - 10% of one's income - is such a little thing of Him to ask of us or require of us (some believe tithing is no longer relevant in the New Testament - but it is still a good place to start.)

It is kind of a token, a small expression, a small way of voluntarily giving God all of our money.

Similarly, Fasting is kind of a token, a small expression and way of voluntarily "dying" for God - the actually giving of our Life to God.

He is looking and hoping for such a more nobler family of people than mere Church attenders and wrote tithers . . .

Putting it "all on the line" everyday can keep us from the Love of Money.

Remembering to do this everyday, is part of our spiritual disciplines.  I am a fan of Reminder Lists.  God wants us to remind ourselves of these types of things.

"Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." (Father God Almighty)  - Hebrews 13:5

THE CYCLE:

1. PAIN

2. CRY OUT TO GOD FOR HELP.

3. GOD'S DELIVERANCE.

REPEAT.

2-5-2026

God allows pain in our lives - many times so that we would Seek Him for help.  He then helps us.

He builds a history of Him being a true friend this way.

Somewhere in time, we hopefully feel a little guilty about only contacting Him for help in times of pain and need.

It is much more noble to Seek Him and Serve Him Daily - no matter what our circumstance are.

The Children of Israel stayed in this CYCLE of Painful Situations - them Crying out to God for Help - and then God Delivering them - for 40 years while wandering in the Desert.  God's best was to have them get to the Promised Land a lot quicker, a lot sooner.  They chose the Slow Way.

Many Christians today seem to similarly live their lives traveling the Slow Way - kind of wandering in the desert like the Israelites did.

There was a better way.  There is a better way . . .

God is such a nice Person.  He will go the Long Way with us if we choose so.  It is so much smarter and noble to go the Short Way.

God commanded His people to Cling to Him daily as a lifestyle - even back then.  (Deut 10) The Israelites were obviously not doing this.

He wants us, though, to continue to Cry Out for Help when we need Him.  It's okay.  If we truly Cry Out to Him - He still promises He we help and deliver us.

But let us carry the testimony and confession that we are Daily Loving Him and Serving Him and Clinging to Him.

Let us refuse the Slow Way:

"A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the back of fools."  Proverbs 26:3

NO REGARD.

Yuk! . . . We don't want to be in this club!

By God's grace, let us strive to not be in this club.

Imagine God having no regard for you or regard for your religious offering or sacrifice you made to Him.

Imagine God kinda looked down at you with no respect or acknowledgement for what you gave to Him or did for Him.

Cain was somewhat a religious man of sorts.

Cain made a religious sacrifice/offering to God.

But it wasn't his best  - and God knew it.

AM I BORN AGAIN?

"Born Again" Christians can be labeled by society and by other Christians as being "off," "radical," "whacky," etc.  (We all can be a little whacky sometimes.)

But all Christians need to be unashamed of confessing they are a "Born Again" Christian.

We have been "Born Again" - becoming an actual New Creation that wants to do what is right 24/7.

We have been Changed into being a Walking Miracle!

Without God's help and power - no man can claim they carry the desire to do what is right 24/7  (Loving the Lord God with their whole hearts, souls, mind, and strength  AND Loving their Neighbor as themselves).

This is a profound work of God.

This is something to be grateful for and proud to be - a Born Again Christian - a person that now wants to do what is right 24/7!

Let us not be ashamed of calling ourselves a "Born Again" Christian - if we truly are one.

It is a beautiful thing.

Jesus did say it was a requirement.

It is good to use this termininology in our attempts to "Cut-Through" dull, fleshly religious, deceived people.

When we are fighting for the souls of men and gently assessing who a person is or where they are at in their journey, asking this question can tell us al lot very quickly:

"Do you believe in God?"

"Do you beieve in the Lord Jesus?"

"Are you 'Born Again?"

"Are you Serving Him?"

"DON'T EVEN EAT WITH THEM."

HATING SEXUAL SIN.

12-2025

Sexual sin (sexual relations outside of a marriage between one man and one woman) seems to be a growing practice and have growing acceptance among confessing Christians.  Fantazing sexually through Pornography and with Pornography falls under this category.

Sexual sin brought great destruction from God to the Children of Israel - and can bring great discipline from God to us and among us today.  The Apostle Paul strongly warns the New Testament Christian to be aware of God's strong displeasure with sexual sin - and to fear partaking in it.  Paul writes that traumatic consequences can befall us, professing Christians, just it did the Israelites (1Cor.10:8)

Sexual sin is one of the biggest ways to kill our Spiritual Life and our Friendship with God.  We need to keep running from it and declaring war against it daily.  We are surrounded everywhere in today's Western culture.

God wants a pure people.  He commands us to separate from Christians who will not repent and quit sexual sin (until they do repent) . . . To not "associate" with them or even "eat with them."

Hopefully, this alienation they will be feeling -  will wake them up . . .

In this way, the whole Body of Christ is called to help in His Spiritual Government.  We are all called to help and do our part, and be jealous for God and His Kingdom and His Reputation - not only obstaining from sexual sin ourselves - but admonishing those who refuse to repent of it.  In one sense, we are each others' "business."

We should not cop-out with the thinking, "Their personal life is none of my business."  If they are a confessing Christian -  THEY ARE OUR BUSINESS!   If they are a confessing Christian and claiming they are Serving God - He tells us to make it our business.

_________________________

Their are other types of sins 'so-called Christian brothers and sisters' can be refusing to stop, that we need to gently and lovingly confront them on, and if need be, separate ourselves from them until they repent and stop.

We are to be continually vigilant against these sins ourselves, on guard against these, and continuously Declaring War on these among ourselves.

Us included !

We all probably will be called-on to confront a "so-called brother" or sister who engages in one of these lifestyles, and will not repent from them.  It takes courage.  It can be very uncomfortable.  We need to do in Love and Gentleness,

"Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted."  (Gal 6:1)

WE CAN MAKE CONTACT

WITH GOD?  WHAT?

It is just smart to be Seeking God as a lifestyle.

The advantages and benefits from regularly Seeking God are so numerous . . . and almost embarrassing and shameful to have to list.

But yet we all can be so dull and undisciplined to not do so.

9-2025

 SEEK. GROPE. FIND.

We were made to Seek God. Sometimes we have to GROPE for God.  "FINDING GOD" is paydirt.

FINDING GOD is an experience where we can confess that we know He was just looking at us and/or listening to us - Personally.

He Rewards for the regular seeking of Him.

It is not always easy find God.

Sometimes "Finding God" can be one of the hardest things to do in life.

Some times it can be so hard that people quit Seeking God - to their own hurt and injury.

But it is worth it.

It gets easier.

God likes us Seeking Him and if need be - Groping for Him - to such a degree - that He Rewards for it:

 Jesus Defined

THE GREATEST ACTIVITY

OF THEM ALL!

The GREATEST ACTIVITY - in all of life.

The MOST IMPORTANT ACTIVITY - in all of life.

Can we really confess this is our Life-Practice?

Can we really confess this is our Life-Priority?

I fear, most Christians can't . . .

We can do all kinds of Religous Activities -

but find ourselves never really doing THE ONE GREATEST ACTIVITY.

Without God, we can be so dark and undisciplined . . .

 NO TROUBLE - NO FEAR.
